Burial, cremation and paw prints in Kansas

What should I seal a clay paw print with?
A water-based matte or satin acrylic sealer, brushed or sprayed in two thin coats, suits most air-dry clay. Test it on the back first. Seal only once the print is completely dry, which in hot or muggy weather can take longer than the packet says. Avoid hairspray and household glue, which yellow over time. Keep a sealed print indoors all year; sealer protects against dust and handling, not against frost in a Wichita winter.
